Throughout these four dangerous years, BAFF has grown into an act of faith.
Faith in peace, the common thread that binds all people of good will, in the struggle against fanaticism and unleashed war machines;
Faith in culture, the cradle of freedom, tolerance and hope;
Faith in the durability of Lebanon, a country that has survived so many catastrophes;
Faith, in these critical days, that we will be able to find the common ground to save our country.

Au long de ces quatre années de tous les dangers, le BAFF s’est converti en un acte de foi.
Foi en la paix, dénominateur commun à tous les Hommes de bonne volonté, face aux fanatismes et aux machines de guerre déchainées ;
Foi dans la culture, berceau de la liberté, de la tolérance et de l’espoir ;
Foi dans la pérennité du Liban, qui a survécu à tant de catastrophes ;
Foi, en ces jours critiques, que nous puissions trouver l’entente interne pour sauver notre pays.

طوال هذه السنوات الأربع المفعمة بالمخاطر، تحوّل BAFF إلى عمل إيمانيّ.
الإيمان بالسلام، القاسم المشترك بين جميع الناس ذوات النوايا الحسنة، في مواجهة التعصّب وآلات الحرب الثائرة؛
الإيمان بالثقافة، مهد الحرية والتسامح والأمل؛
الإيمان ببقاء لبنان، الذي نجا من العديد من الكوارث؛
.الإيمان، في هذه الأيام الحرجة، بقدرتنا على إيجاد تفاهم داخليّ لإنقاذ بلدنا

From 7 to 17 November 2023,
the central event of BAFF Edition 9 took place at the Théâtre Béryte (map),
on the campus of the Institut d’Etudes Scéniques Audiovisuelles et Cinématographiques – IESAV
of Beirut Saint-Joseph University – USJ, with 19 films, 10 speakers, 2 lectures and 1 exhibition ❗

Access to all BAFF events at Béryte Theater is subject to a fee
integrally donated to Fondation USJ, for the benefit of IESAV students !
