Trablus, Between Raymond de St-Gilles, Al-Mansûr Qala’ûn, and ‘Azmi Bey.Before the arrival of the Crusades, Tripoli was in El-Mina peninsula since Phoenician times. The conference shall shed the light on the fantastic journey of this city between the coast, the current old city on Abu Ali riverbanks under the castle, and the late ottoman city center around Sahat Al-Tell. Moderated by Dr Jean Yasmine.
طرابلس بين ريموند دو سان جيل والمنصور قلاوون وعزمي بك .كانت طرابلس في شبه جزيرة الميناء منذ العصر الفينيقي حتى وصول الحملة الصليبية الاولى. ستلقي المحاضرة الضوء على الرحلة الرائعة لهذه المدينة بين الساحل والمدينة القديمة الحالية على ضفاف نهر أبو علي تحت القلعة ومركز المدينة العثمانية المتأخرة حول ساحة التل.

Tripoli, Entre Raymond de St-Gilles, Al-Mansûr Qala’ûn et ‘Azmi Bey. Avant l’arrivée des Croisades, Tripoli se trouvait dans la péninsule d’El-Mina depuis l’époque phénicienne. La conférence mettra en lumière le fantastique parcours de cette ville entre la côte, la vieille ville actuelle sur les rives d’Abou Ali sous le château, et le centre-ville ottoman tardif autour de Sahat Al-Tell.
