ENG. Two years after the double explosion of warehouse 12 that ripped through Beirut, the story can finally be told by those who lived through this bloody and teary night.
How did this happen, what impact did it have on the capital and its people, and how does the city cling to life and try to rise from the ashes?
Families of victims, firefighters, doctors and nurses, journalists and activists, business and community leaders, witnesses of the apocalyptic night return in this documentary on the appalling August 4, 2020. They wonder about the investigation, its outcome against which a whole political class is striving. They ask aloud if justice will ever be done.
At a time when Judge Tarek Bitar, in charge of the investigation, is notified of the 34th legal procedure brought to obstruct his action, what about the truth on this crime which has devastated Lebanon?
FR.
