ENG. Inspired by the book of the same title, this film, produced by the BAFF, pays tribute to the architect of the new ALBA buildings, but also to the professor who shaped many architects.

FR. Inspiré de l’ouvrage du même titre, ce film, produit par le BAFF, rend hommage à l’architecte des nouveaux bâtiments de l’ALBA, mais aussi au professeur qui formé de nombreux architectes.

Film director

Nicolas Khoury (1989) graduated in film and audiovisual studies from the Lebanese Academy of Fine-Arts (ALBA) in 2010. He is an independent documentary filmmaker and film editor living and working in Beirut, Lebanon. His filmography includes three independent medium length films that won awards in multiple festivals. His last independent documentary Resonances (27 minutes) won the best short documentary at It’s All True (Brazil) in 2018, and the best short documentary in Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage (Tunis) in 2018.

Nicolas Khoury (1989) est diplômé en études cinématographiques et audiovisuelles de l’Académie Libanaise des Beaux-arts (ALBA) en 2010. Il est un documentariste indépendant et monteur de films vivant et travaillant à Beyrouth, au Liban. Sa filmographie comprend trois longs métrages indépendants qui ont remporté des prix dans plusieurs festivals. Son dernier documentaire indépendant, Résonances (27 minutes), a remporté le meilleur court métrage documentaire à It’s All True (Brésil) en 2018, et le meilleur court métrage documentaire aux Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage (Tunis) en 2018.
