The Rachid Karame International Fair: Past, Present, Future. Based on the documentary film, Niemeyer 4 Ever, directed in 2018 by Nicolas Khoury, which presents the work of Oscar Niemeyer, from its construction to the war and post-war years, Dr Mousbah Rajab, architect and urban planner, will discuss the restoration and preservation project of the Fair buildings. The architects, Nicolas Fayad and Charles Kettaneh, will present their renovation project of the Guest House pavilion, within the Fair, for which they received the Agha Khan Prize in 2023.
معرض رشيد كرامي الدولي: الماضي، الحاضر، المستقبل. تبدأ الندوة مع عرض الفيلم الوثائقي نيميير للأبد، الذي أخرجه نقولا خوري عام 2018 عن معرض طرابلس الدولي لأوسكار نيماير، منذ بنائه وحتى سنوات الحرب وما بعد الحرب. الدكتور مصباح رجب، المهندس المعماري والمخطط الحضري، سيناقش عملية الترميم ومشروع الحفاظ على مباني المعرض. اما المهندسان المعماريان نيكولا فياض وشارل كتانة سيقدمان مشروعهما لتجديد جناح بيت الضيافة ضمن المعرض، والذي حصلا عليه على جائزة الآغا خان في عام 2023.
La Foire Internationale Rachid Karame : passé, présent, avenir. A partir du film documentaire, Niemeyer 4 Ever, réalisé en 2018 par Nicolas Khoury et qui présente l’ouvrage d’Oscar Niemeyer, de sa construction aux années de guerre et d’après-guerre, Dr Mousbah Rajab, architecte et urbaniste, abordera le projet de restauration et de préservation des bâtiments de la Foire. Les architectes, Nicolas Fayad et Charles Kettaneh, présenteront leur projet de rénovation du pavillon Guest House, au sein de la Foire, pour lequel ils ont reçu le Prix de l’Agha Khan en 2023.
