ENG. The film takes us inside Pieter Bruegel’s painting The Hunters in the Snow, a seemingly innocent winter scene depicting hunters, peasants, women, men, and children playing on the ice. The voices of art historians and Bruegel specialists Reindert Falkenburg and Michel Weemans reveal how deceptive appearances can be… Gradually, the snow emerges as a mask, and the painting itself is unveiled as a trap.
يرافقنا الفيلم في رحلةٍ على لوحة ’صيادو الثلج‘ لبيتر بروغل، وهي عبارة عن مشهد من أجواء الشتاء، بسيطٌ في ظاهره يضمّ صيادين وفلاحين ونساءً ورجالاً وأطفالاً يلعبون على الجليد. لكن يبرز صوتا المؤرخين الفنيين والمتخصصين في فن الرسم، رايندرت فالكنبورغ وميشيل ويمانز، ليكشفا لنا كم أن المظاهر خدّاعة… شيئاً فشيئاً، يتحوّل الثلج إلى قناعٍ، وتتكشف اللوحة بأنها فخٌ.
FR. Le film nous emmène dans la toile Les Chasseurs dans la neige de Pieter Bruegel, une scène d’hiver aux allures innocentes, montrant des chasseurs, des paysans, des femmes, hommes et enfants jouant sur la glace. Les voix de Reindert Falkenburg et Michel Weemans, deux historiens de l’art et spécialistes du peintre, nous révèlent à quel point les apparences peuvent être trompeuses… Peu à peu la neige apparaît comme un masque et le tableau se révèle être un piège.

ENG. Thomas Sipp is a documentary filmmaker and lecturer at the Toulouse School of Fine Arts. His films, broadcast in France and internationally, have received numerous festival awards. He also works with sound documentaries, graphic design, and art history. He represented France at the São Paulo Biennial in 2012, and collaborates regularly with Arte and France Culture.
توماسا سيب، مخرج أفلام وثائقية وأستاذ في مدرسة الفنون الجميلة في تولوز، وقد عُرضت أفلامه، التي انتشرت على الساحتين الفرنسية والعالمية، في العديد من المهرجانات. كما كانت له تجارب في الوثائقيات السمعية والتصميم الغرافيكي وتاريخ الفن ومثّل فرنسا في بينالي سان باولو عام 2012، فضلاً عن تعاونه الدائم مع قناتي ’آرتي‘ و’فرانس كولتور‘.
FR. Thomas Sipp est documentariste et enseignant à l’École des beaux-arts de Toulouse. Ses films, diffusés en France et à l’international, ont été primés dans de nombreux festivals. Il explore aussi le documentaire sonore, le graphisme et l’histoire de l’art. Il a représenté la France à la Biennale de São Paulo en 2012 et collabore régulièrement avec Arte et France Culture..
