ENG. One of the most celebrated artists of the Italian Renaissance, Pietro Perugino died exactly five hundred years ago, in 1523. The documentary Perugino. Eternal Renaissance takes a close look at the work of the man who was Raphael’s master. The film, narrated by actor Marco Bocci, is an immersion in the history of Italian painting, and allows us to (re)discover this artist for whom the perfect balance between Man and Nature was more than a fantasy, the guiding principle of a career that takes us from the Umbria National Gallery to the Vatican Sistine Chapel.
FR. L’un des artistes les plus célébrés de la Renaissance italienne, Pietro Perugino est décédé il y a exactement cinq cents ans, en 1523. Le documentaire Perugino. Eternal Renaissance revient avec précision sur l’œuvre de celui qui fut le maître de Raphaël. Narré par l’acteur Marco Bocci, le film est une immersion dans l’histoire de la peinture italienne, et permet de (re)découvrir cet artiste pour qui le parfait équilibre entre l’Homme et la nature fut plus qu’une chimère mais la ligne de conduite d’une carrière qui nous mène de la Galerie nationale de l’Ombrie à la Chapelle Sixtine, au Vatican.
توفي بيترو بيروجينو، أحد أشهر الفنّانين في عصر النهضة الإيطالية، قبل خمسمائة عام بالتحديد، في العام ١٥٢٣. الفيلم الوثائقيّ يعيد النظر، بدقّة، في عمل الرجل الذي كان معلّم رافائيل. قام الممثّل ماركو بوتشي برواية الفيلم الذي هو عبارة عن انغماس في تاريخ الرسم الإيطاليّ، سامحًا بإعادة اكتشاف هذا الفنّان الذي كان التوازنُ المثاليّ بين الإنسان والطبيعة أكثرَ من مجرّد وهم لديه، لا بل نهج مهنة تنقلنا من معرض أومبريا الوطنيّ إلى كنيسة سيستين في الفاتيكان.

Alice Mogabgab has been the artistic director of the Beirut Art Film Festival – BAFF since 2015. After studying art history at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, she returned to Lebanon in 1991 where she gave introductory courses to history of art at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts – ALBA and in private groups. In 1994, she opened her contemporary art gallery in Beirut and became passionate about the artists of today. In 2018, she opened a second space in Brussels, which she closed following the 4 August 2020 Beirut blast, devoting herself exclusively to cultural resistance in a country devastated by an unprecedented economic crisis. In 2023, the Festival International du Film sur l’Art – Le FIFA awarded the BAFF, which she directs, the Tribute Prize « an example of courage and determination for all cultural actors. »
Alice Mogabgab est, depuis 2015, la directrice artistique du Beirut Art Film Festival – BAFF. Après des études en histoire de l’art à Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, elle rentre au Liban en 1991 où elle donne des cours d’initiation à l’histoire de l’art à l’Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts – ALBA et en privé. En 1994, elle ouvre sa galerie d’art contemporain à Beyrouth et se passionne pour les artistes d’aujourd’hui. En 2018, elle inaugure un second espace à Bruxelles, qu’elle ferme suite à l’explosion du 4 aout 2020, pour se consacrer exclusivement à la résistance culturelle dans un pays dévasté par une crise économique sans précédent. En 2023, le Festival International du Film sur l’Art – Le FIFA attribue au BAFF, qu’elle dirige, le Prix Hommage « un exemple de courage et de détermination pour tous les acteur·trice·s culturel·le·s. »
أليس مغبغب هي، منذ عام ٢٠١٥، المديرة الفنّية لمهرجان بيروت للأفلام الفنّية الوثائقية. بعد تخصّصها بمادة تاريخ الفنّ في جامعة باريس ١ بانتيون – سوربون، عادت إلى لبنان في عام ١٩٩١ وبدأت تعطي دروسًا تمهيدية عن تاريخ الفنّ، في الأكاديمية اللبنانية للفنون الجميلة (ألبا). في عام ١٩٩٤، افتتحت معرضها الفنّيّ المعاصر في بيروت، وبدأت رحلة شغفها بالفنّانين المعاصرين. في عام ٢٠١٨، افتتحت حيّزًا آخر لها في بروكسيل، الّذي ما لبثت أن أغلقته بعد انفجار ٤ آب ٢٠٢٠، لتكرّس نفسها حصريًّا للمقاومة الثقافية في بلد دمّرته أزمة إقتصادية لم يسبق لها مثيل. في عام ٢٠٢٣، قدّم المهرجان السينمائيّ الدوليّ للأفلام الفنّية – (الفيفا) لمهرجان بيروت للأفلام الفنّية، الذي تديره، جائزةً تقديرية “مثال شجاعة وتصميم لجميع الجهات الثقافية الفاعلة”
