Recognized early on for her exceptional talent, Joana Mallwitz was Europe’s youngest general music director before becoming, in August 2023, chief conductor of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, one of Germany’s leading classical orchestras. Over two years, the film follows her through a pivotal phase of her international career — as she makes debuts in Munich, Paris, Salzburg, and Amsterdam, while also balancing life as a spouse and mother.

اشتهرت جوانا مالويتز منذ بداياتها بموهبتها الاستثنائية، فقد كانت أصغر مديرة موسيقية عامة في أوروبا قبل أن تتولى في برلين في آب 2023 منصب القائدة الرئيسية لأوركسترا ’ كونتسرتهاوس أوركستر ‘، وهي واحدة من أعرق فرق الأوركسترا الكلاسيكية في ألمانيا. يتتبع الفيلم مسيرتها الفنية على الساحة الدولية في واحدةٍ من مراحلها الفارقة التي امتدّت على مدى عامين – بين بداياتها في ميونيخ وباريس وسالزبورغ وأمستردام وحياتها الشخصية، شريكةً وأمًا.

Reconnue très tôt pour son talent exceptionnel, Joana Mallwitz a été la plus jeune directrice musicale générale d’Europe avant de devenir, en août 2023, cheffe principale du Konzerthausorchester Berlin, l’un des orchestres classiques les plus prestigieux d’Allemagne. Pendant deux ans, le film la suit dans une phase déterminante de sa carrière internationale — entre ses débuts à Munich, Paris, Salzbourg et Amsterdam, et sa vie personnelle de conjointe et de mère.

ENG. Günter Atteln is a German musician, film director and producer. After early work in orchestras, he studied musicology and started short films. An internship at EuroArts led to his first documentary on Maria de Alvear. Since then, he has directed documentaries and produced acclaimed concert and opera recordings worldwide. His film Soulscapes – The Choreographer Uwe Scholz (2007) was awarded the Silver FIPA.

غانتر أتلن، موسيقي ومخرج ومنتج ألماني، درس علوم الموسيقى بعد بداياته مع عدد من فرق الأوركسترا، ثم أخرج أوّل أفلامه القصيرة، تلاه أول فيلمٍ وثائقيٍ له عن حياة ماريا دي ألفير، بعد فترةٍ تدريبيةٍ في ’أورو آرت‘. ومنذ ذلك الحين، أخرج العديد من الأفلام وأنتج العديد من الحفلات الموسيقية وحفلات الأوبرا التي لاقت نجاحًا كبيرًا. وقد حصد فيلمه Soulscapes – The Choreographer Uwe Scholz (2007) الجائزة الفضية في المهرجان الدولي للبرامج السمعية والبصرية.

FR. Günter Atteln est un musicien, réalisateur et producteur allemand. Après ses débuts dans des orchestres, il étudie la musicologie et réalise ses premiers courts-métrages. Un stage chez EuroArts le mène à son premier documentaire sur Maria de Alvear. Depuis, il a réalisé plusieurs films et produit des concerts et opéras renommés. Soulscapes – The Choreographer Uwe Scholz (2007) a reçu le FIPA d’argent.
