ENG. How can architecture blend perfectly with nature and its environment? This is the guiding principle behind the work of Argentinian architect Emilio Ambasz, born in Resistencia in 1943. Internationally renowned for his buildings that reinvent the architectural gesture in harmony with nature, Ambasz’s work is an ode to inventive, respectful and environmental aware architecture. Directed by award-winning Italian documentary filmmakers Mattia Colombo and Francesca Molteni, Green Over Gray: Emilio Ambasz captures the architect’s poetic work in the manner of a fable, while questioning our relationship with space.

Telle est la ligne directrice de l’œuvre de l’architecte argentin Emilio Ambasz, né à Resistencia en 1943. Mondialement réputé pour ses constructions qui réinventent le geste architectural en symbiose avec la nature, le travail d’Ambasz est une ode à une architecture inventive, respectueuse et écologique. Réalisé par les documentaristes italiens Mattia Colombo et Francesca Molteni, plusieurs fois primés, Green Over Gray: Emilio Ambasz évoque l’œuvre poétique de l’architecte, à la manière d’une fable, tout en nous interrogeant sur notre rapport à l’espace.

كيف نُدخل العمارة في تناغمٍ تامٍ مع الطبيعة ومحيطها؟ هذا هو المبدأ الذي ينطلق منه المهندس الأرجنتيني إيميليو أمباز لتوجيه أعماله، وهو المولود في العام 1943 في ريزيستينسيا. ذاع صيت أمباز في العالم بفصل تصاميمه التي تعيد تصوّر الرموز الهندسية حتى تتواءم مع الطبيعة، لذا تتحوّل أعماله إلى ترنيمة العمارة الخلاقة والجليلة التي توفي الطبيعة حقّها. الوثائقي أخضر على رمادي: إيميليو أمباز عملٌ للمخرجين الإيطاليين ماتيا كولومبو وفرانشيسكا مولتيني، وقد عُرض عدة مرات ويستعرض الأعمال الشعرية لهذا المهندس بأسلوبٍ سرديٍ يحملنا على التفكّر في علاقتنا مع الفضاء.

Film Directors

Francesca Molteni, graduated in Philosophy at the Università degli Studi in Milan, and studied Film Production at New York University. Since 2002, she produces and directs documentaries, tv formats, videos and installations, and curates design exhibitions. In 2009 she founded MUSE Factory of Projects, a production company based in Milan, particularly focusing on contemporary culture, design and architecture.
Among the last films, Openings. Gazes beyond the limit, Superdesign. Italian Radical Design 1965-75, The Power of the Archive. Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Newmuseum(s). Stories of Company Archives and Museums, and A Friendly Place. 150 years of Querini Stampalia Foundation in Venice.
She received the Award for Innovation assigned by the President of the Italian Republic, the Compasso d’Oro honorable mention, and the Cathay Pacific Award for women entrepreneurs. She’s a contributor to La Repubblica, Vogue, Casa Vogue, AD, Elle Decor; and the author of the book Icone d’impresa (Icons of Enterprise) – Carocci.

Francesca Molteni, diplômée en philosophie à de l’Università degli Studi de Milan, a étudié la production cinématographique à l’Université de New York. Depuis 2002, elle produit et réalise des documentaires, des formats télévisés, des vidéos et des installations, et organise des expositions de design. En 2009, elle a fondé MUSE Factory of Projects, une société de production basée à Milan, qui se concentre sur la culture contemporaine, le design et l’architecture.

Elle a reçu le prix de l’innovation décerné par le président de la République italienne, la mention honorable du Compasso d’Oro et le prix Cathay Pacific pour les femmes entrepreneurs. Elle collabore à La Repubblica, Vogue, Casa Vogue, AD, Elle Décor et est auteure du livre Icone d’impresa (Icônes d’entreprise) – Carocci.

فرانشيسكا مولتيني حاصلة على شهادةٍ في الفلسفة من جامعة الدراسات في ميلانو، ثم درست الإنتاج السينمائي في جامعة نيويورك. ومنذ العام 2002 وهي تُنتج وتُخرج الأفلام الوثائقية والأعمال التلفزيونية والفيديوهات والتركيبات، إلى جانب تنظيم معارض التصميم. في العام 2009، أسّست شركة الإنتاج ’ميوز فاكتوري أوف بروجكت‘ ومقرّها ميلانو وينصب عملها في مجال الثقافة المعاصرة والتصميم والعمارة.
ومن بين أحدث أفلامها افتتاحات ونظرات تتخطى الحدود والتصميم الخارق والتصميم الإيطالي الراديكالي 1965 – 75 وقوة الأرشيف وورشة عمل البناء لرينزو بيانو والمعارض الجديدة وقصص أرشيف الشركات والمعارض ومكانٌ مألوف و150 عامًا على تأسيس شركة كويريني ستامباليا في البندقية.
حازت على جائزة الإبداع التي يمنحها رئيس الجمهورية الإيطالية، وعلى رتبة شرف من مهرجان كومباسو دورو وجائزة ’كاثي باسيفيك‘ للنساء رائدات الأعمال. وهي تتعاون مع صحفٍ ومجلات مثل ’لا ريبوبليكا‘ و’فوغ‘ و’كازا فوغ‘ و’إيْ دي‘ و’أل ديكور‘، كما ألفت كتابًا بعنوان ’أيقونات الشركات – كاروتشي‘

Mattia Colombo is an Italian filmmaker. His first documentary Il Velo(The Veil) was in competition at Vision du Réel, EIFF Edinburgh International Film Festival, AFI Silverdocs Discovery, Dialektus Film Festival and XI Circuito Off in Venice where it won two awards. Since then he directed many films: Alberi che camminano (Trees that Walk) and Voglio dormire con te (I Wanna Sleep with You) in 2015; Il passo(The Step) and Ritmo Sbilenco(Lopsided Rhythm) in 2016, Uninvited,a biopic about Marcelo Burlon, outsider fashion designer and DJ, in 2017; B Heroes and White Noisein 2021, Sconosciuti Puri (Pure Unknown) in 2023.

Mattia Colombo est un cinéaste italien. Son premier documentaire Il Velo (Le Voile) a été en compétition à Vision du Réel, EIFF Edinburgh International Film Festival, AFI Silverdocs Discovery, Dialektus Film Festival et XI Circuito Off à Venise où il a remporté deux prix. Depuis, il a réalisé de nombreux films : Alberi che camminano (Arbres qui marchent) et Voglio dormire con te (Je veux dormir avec toi) en 2015 ; Il passo (Le pas) et Ritmo Sbilenco (Rythme déséquilibré) en 2016, Uninvited, un biopic sur Marcelo Burlon, créateur de mode outsider et DJ, en 2017 ; B Heroes et White Noise en 2021, Sconosciuti Puri (Pures Inconnus) en 2023.

ماتيا كولومبو مخرج سينيمائي إيطالي. أولى أعماله الوثائقية كان بعنوان الحاجب وقد شارك في مهرجان رؤي الواقع للأفلام الوثائقية ومهرجان أدنبره السينمائي الدولي ومهرجان معهد الأفلام الأمريكي للأفلام الوثائقية (سيلفر دوكس ديسكوفري) ومهرجان دياليكتوس للأفلام ومعرض تشيركويتو أوف بنسخته الحادية عشر في البندقية، حيث حصد جائزتين. ومن بعدها أخرج العديد من الأفلام: شجرٌ يمشي وأريد النوم معك عام 2015 وخطوة وإيقاعٌ غير مضبوط عام 2016 وفيلم بدون دعوة الذي يروي سيرة مصمم الأزياء والمنسّق الموسيقي مارتشيلو بورلون في العام 2017 والأبطال بي الضجيج الأبيض في العام 2021 ومجهولون تمامًا في العام 2023.
